Mike Rhodes

Mike Rhodes is an American broadcasting personality, producer, musician, writer and former child actor. Considered to be controversial and conspiratorial, his career has been well known for raising eyebrows from the Bible Belt of America to the West Coast then back to Chicago. Mike now has his sights on growing The Land of Confusion Show as a podcast with potential on becoming a syndicated radio show in 2023. Mike Rhodes includes his ethics,  faith and values to his show, now bringing a more powerful, positive message to every broadcast.

Mike Rhodes expressed an interest in radio and the entertainment industry as a whole from an early age. As a child he would listen to Chicago's WCKG & WLUP classic rock radio shows as well as performed as a mobile disc jockey from his preteen years through his adulthood. Mike worked as a child actor, appearing in regional television commercials for Sony and has made appearances announcing cartoon segments on The Bozo Circus Show in Chicago, Illinois during the 1970's.

Mike Rhodes began his radio career in 1996, shortly after graduating from a broadcasting vocational school after college in Illinois. He has been on the air in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Southern Illinois. He's most noted for Full Service Agricultural and Contemporary Country Music formats. Mike Rhodes developed The Land of Confusion Show as a Conservative Political Commentary program that would also touch base on odd topics such as aliens, conspiracy theories, cryptozoology, the paranormal, relationships, religion and life in general.

Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones and George Noory were the most influential broadcasters behind Mike Rhodes' passion for uncovering the truth. Mike Rhodes has been inspired by radio legends such as Casey Kasem, Wolfman Jack as well as every Chicago radio dj from the 1970's through the 1990's.​ Mike Rhodes has a strong interest in ufology, conspiracy theories and all the oddities that he loves discussing on The Land of Confusion Show but also enjoys discussing every day life and the every day happenings that too confuse us as we go along our journey in life.

Mike's favorite color is red, his favorite food was Twin Peaks spicy Cajun rub wings & favorite beer was Corona Premiere. However, Mike Rhodes has just started a new journey in his life by electing to undergo vertical sleeve gastrectomy bariatric surgery. Mike Rhodes started this journey on May 1st, 2023 at 375 pounds. He had lost over 60 pounds by November 2023. The bariatric surgery will help him reverse the weight gain effects he acquired through hypothyroidism after having a thyroidectomy to remove thyroid cancer. Mike Rhodes is single and holding spousal auditions.
